Rob Foster, President
Rob's career in commercial construction began in the U.S. Army in 1972. He worked his way up the career ladder, and became a project manager at Federal Contracting, where he worked for over 15 years. When Federal Contracting became Bryan Construction, Rob stayed on as a Senior Project Manager. Knowing the business inside and out, Rob decided he would like to test his entrepreneurial skills and open his own business. In 1998, he and Brad Hix founded Gateway Construction Company.
In 2001, Rob decided expand a small construction consulting business he had been running on the side. Thus, CMS, Inc. became what it is today - a reliable and trustworthy commercial sub contracting company. Rob has grown CMS, Inc. from a small start-up to a firm that bills out millions of dollars each year.
Annie Bouton-Foster, CFO
Annie is a Colorado Springs native, her family has resided throughout the Old North End for many decades. She has many ties to the city including being a proud Palmer alumni. Annie began working for CMS in 2000, before that she worked in the banking industry. Annie deals with company finances and general office management. In her free time she enjoys hiking with her dog Tucker, and spending time with friends.
Lane Winters, Superintendent & Traffic Control Coordinator
Lane has been working in construction most of his life. As a young man Lane worked for his father’s Colorado Springs based construction company which was founded in 1942. Lane went on to start his own framing company which he ran for 30 years until 2008, he came to work with CMS in 2014.
As the general superintendent Lane’s role in all projects is crucial. Not only is Lane a supervisor of field work but his role as traffic control coordinator is key to crew member safety and timely completion of projects. Lane also schedules hours for crew members, delegates work, and coordinates supply delivery. He is qualified to train individuals on proper operation of all heavy machinery and in all safety procedures. In his free time, Lane likes to work on old cars and enjoy his native state of Colorado. He is a valued member of our CMS family.
Jim Pinello, Project Manager & Estimator
Jim works on project design and implementation. He is a Colorado native who has lived in Colorado Springs his whole life. Jim has decades of experience in the construction business where he overseen a variety of projects. In 1990 Jim started his own construction company then came to work for CMS in 2017. Jim enjoys the outdoors, he is an avid hunter and fisherman and a big Broncos fan.
Jeff Gosch, General Manager
Jeff joined CMS in August of 2022 and he oversees the whole team. Jeff is a Colorado Springs native and has been working as a Project Manager doing primarily Federal general contracting work in Colorado Springs since 2000. For six years prior to that, Jeff worked as a construction manager and superintendent doing commercial contracting work in the private sector. In his free time, Jeff enjoys riding his ATV, flying his drone, and traveling. In addition, Jeff is a long distance bicyclist. He has traveled cross country over 4,750 miles thus far raising funds for Multiple Sclerosis.
Alex Harris, Controller
Alex has her Bachelors from UCCS in Accounting and has worked in accounting for over 15 years in several different industries over the course of her career. In her free time, Alex likes to attend concerts and transcribe lyrics on Genius.com. She also enjoys taking her Jeep off-roading and exploring the trails of Colorado.
Jacob Wilson, Project Coordinator/Safety Coordinator
Jacob joined the CMS team in 2020 after graduating from Liberty High School. He ensures projects run smoothly and safely. In his free time Jacob enjoys traveling, hiking, playing video games, playing guitar, and driving & upgrading his car.
